میر رضا علی قتل کیس کی تحقیقات میں اہم پیش رفت سامنے آئی ہے۔ کراچی پولیس نے جائے وقوعہ کے قریب سے مقتول کا آئی فون اور اسلحے کا ایک کور (پاؤچ) برآمد کر لیا، جبکہ پولیس سرجن نے لاش پر تشدد یا جھلسانے کے نشانات موجود ہونے کی اطلاعات کی تردید کر دی۔
پولیس کے مطابق پی ای سی ایچ ایس سوسائٹی کے رہائشی اور انسٹی ٹیوٹ آف بزنس ایڈمنسٹریشن (آئی بی اے) کے طالب علم میر رضا علی کی لاش بدھ کو گلستانِ جوہر بلاک ون کے پہاڑی علاقے سے ملی تھی۔ ابتدائی تحقیقات کے مطابق وہ منگل اور بدھ کی درمیانی شب اپنی رہائش گاہ سے آن لائن ٹیکسی کے ذریعے روانہ ہوئے تھے، جس کے بعد لاپتا ہو گئے۔
ڈسٹرکٹ ایسٹ پولیس، کرائم سین یونٹ اور تفتیشی حکام نے جائے وقوعہ اور اطراف کے علاقوں کا دوبارہ معائنہ کیا۔ اس دوران پولیس کو مقتول کا آئی فون جائے وقوعہ سے تقریباً 200 میٹر دور نصیر ٹاور اپارٹمنٹ کے عقب سے ملا، جبکہ ایک اسلحے کا کور بھی برآمد کیا گیا۔
پولیس کے مطابق آئی فون پاس ورڈ سے محفوظ ہے اور اسے کھلوانے کی کوششیں جاری ہیں۔ تفتیشی ٹیم مقتول کے موبائل فون کا کال ڈیٹا ریکارڈ (CDR) حاصل کر کے اس کی نقل و حرکت کا روٹ میپ بھی تیار کر رہی ہے۔ حکام کال ڈیٹا میں سامنے آنے والے تقریباً 50 نمبروں کی بھی جانچ کر رہے ہیں۔
پولیس سرجن کے مطابق مقتول کے سینے پر لگنے والی گولی جسم کے آرپار ہو گئی تھی، تاہم پوسٹ مارٹم میں جسم پر تشدد یا جھلسانے کے کوئی شواہد نہیں ملے۔
تحقیقات کے سلسلے میں ایس ایس پی ڈسٹرکٹ ایسٹ زیبر نواز شیخ، ایس پی گلشن اقبال غلام شبیر سرکی، ایس ایچ او فیروز آباد عدیل افضال، تفتیشی افسران اور کرائم سین ماہرین نے بھی جائے وقوعہ کا تفصیلی دورہ کیا اور مزید شواہد اکٹھے کیے۔
