کراچی میں پاکستان سنی تحریک کے مرکزی ترجمان فہیم الدین شیخ نے شہر کی موجودہ صورتحال پر شدید تشویش کا اظہار کرتے ہوئے کہا ہے کہ کراچی کے ساتھ سوتیلی ماں جیسا سلوک بند کیا جائے۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ ملک کے سب سے بڑے معاشی مرکز ہونے کے باوجود کراچی کے شہری بنیادی سہولیات سے محروم ہیں، جبکہ جاری ترقیاتی منصوبوں کی سست رفتاری شہریوں کے لیے شدید مشکلات پیدا کر رہی ہے۔ ان کے مطابق شہر کی اہم شاہراہوں اور سڑکوں کی کھدائی نے ٹریفک جام، حادثات اور روزمرہ زندگی کو بری طرح متاثر کیا ہے۔
فہیم الدین شیخ نے کہا کہ حکومتی اداروں کی ناقص منصوبہ بندی اور عدم دلچسپی کے باعث شہری خود کو نظرانداز محسوس کر رہے ہیں، جبکہ ترقیاتی کاموں میں تاخیر سے کاروباری سرگرمیاں بھی متاثر ہو رہی ہیں۔
انہوں نے مؤقف اختیار کیا کہ کراچی ملکی معیشت میں ریڑھ کی ہڈی کی حیثیت رکھتا ہے، لیکن اسے اس کا جائز حق نہیں دیا جا رہا۔ ان کے مطابق وفاقی اور صوبائی حکومتوں کو شہر کے مسائل کے مستقل حل کے لیے فوری اور سنجیدہ اقدامات کرنے چاہئیں۔
ترجمان نے مطالبہ کیا کہ کراچی کی ٹوٹی پھوٹی سڑکوں کی فوری مرمت، نکاسی آب کے نظام کی بہتری اور شہری سہولیات کی فراہمی کو یقینی بنایا جائے تاکہ عوام کو ریلیف مل سکے۔
انہوں نے خبردار کیا کہ اگر کراچی کے مسائل حل نہ کیے گئے تو عوام کا حکومتی اداروں پر اعتماد مزید کمزور ہوگا۔ ان کا کہنا تھا کہ شہریوں کو محض نعروں اور وعدوں کے بجائے عملی اقدامات کی ضرورت ہے۔
