ایس ایس پی کیماڑی کیپٹن (ر) فیضان علی کے مطابق ملزم سید عدنان عرف ایان عرف حاجی ولد عبدالرحمن کو خفیہ اطلاع پر خطرناک موڑ، سائیٹ ایریا سے گرفتار کیا گیا۔ ملزم کے قبضے سے وارداتوں میں استعمال ہونے والا غیر قانونی پستول برآمد ہوا۔
پولیس کے مطابق ملزم نے دورانِ انٹیروگیشن اعتراف کیا کہ اس نے تین ماہ قبل حبیب بینک چوک، اسٹیٹ ایونیو روڈ پر شہری علی رضا سے 10 لاکھ روپے اسلحہ کے زور پر چھینے اور مزاحمت پر فائرنگ کر کے زخمی کیا۔
اس واردات کا مقدمہ FIR No. 386/2025 بجرم دفعہ 394/397/34 تھانہ سائیٹ اے میں درج تھا۔
کارروائی ایس ڈی پی او سائیٹ ڈویژن زین رضا بلوچ کی نگرانی میں ایس ایچ او تھانہ سائیٹ اے اور چوکی انچارج میٹروول عمران لودھی نے کی۔
تحقیقات سے معلوم ہوا ہے کہ ملزم پیشہ ور عادی مجرم ہے جو ماضی میں 22 مقدمات میں گرفتار ہوکر جیل جاچکا ہے، جن میں ڈکیتی، فائرنگ، غیر قانونی اسلحہ اور منشیات کے الزامات شامل ہیں۔
پولیس کے مطابق ملزم کے خلاف نیا مقدمہ درج کرکے مزید تفتیش جاری ہے، جبکہ مزید انکشافات کی توقع ہے۔
