وزیراعلیٰ سندھ کے ہمراہ صوبائی وزرا ناصر حسین شاہ، جام اکرام دھاریجو، میئر کراچی مرتضیٰ وہاب اور دیگر اعلیٰ افسران بھی موجود تھے۔ دورے کے دوران دکاندار اپنے دکان میں موجود سامان اور دکان کی ملکیت یا کرائے دار ہونے کے دعوے کی تصدیق کے لیے مختلف کاؤنٹرز پر پہنچے، جنہیں وزیراعلیٰ سندھ نے خود جا کر مشاہدہ کیا۔
سندھ حکومت نے گل پلازہ کے 62 شہداء میں سے 45 کے خاندانوں کو ایک، ایک کروڑ روپے فراہم کیے ہیں، جبکہ متاثرہ دکانداروں کو 5 لاکھ روپے فی دکان کے حساب سے 1153 چیکس تقسیم کرنے کی تیاری کی گئی ہے۔ وزیراعلیٰ سندھ نے کہا کہ حکومت تاجروں کے نقصانات کا ازالہ کرنے کے لیے پرعزم ہے اور متاثرہ دکانداروں کو جلد از جلد اپنے پیروں پر کھڑا کرنے تک چین سے نہیں بیٹھیں گے۔
وزیراعلیٰ سندھ نے دکانداروں کے ساتھ ملاقات میں یقین دہانی کرائی کہ ان کی مکمل بحالی اور کاروباری سرگرمیوں کی بحالی حکومت کی اولین ترجیح ہے۔
