نہال ہاشمی نے کہا کہ کم عمری کی شادی لڑکیوں کی تعلیم اور صحت متاثر کرتی ہے۔ یہ ان کے بہتر مستقبل کی راہ میں بھی رکاوٹ بنتی ہے۔
گورنر ہاؤس سے جاری اعلامیے کے مطابق انہوں نے لڑکیوں کے عالمی دن پر پیغام جاری کیا۔ انہوں نے پاکستان میں کم عمری کی شادی ختم کرنے کے لیے مؤثر قانون سازی پر زور دیا۔ ان کا کہنا تھا کہ قوانین پر عمل درآمد بھی ضروری ہے۔
غربت اور سماجی روایات ترقی میں رکاوٹ
گورنر سندھ نے کہا کہ غربت اور فرسودہ سماجی روایات لڑکیوں کی ترقی محدود کرتی ہیں۔
انہوں نے بیٹیوں کو اللہ تعالیٰ کی نعمت قرار دیا۔ ان کے مطابق لڑکیاں ملک کے روشن مستقبل کی ضمانت ہیں۔
نہال ہاشمی نے ہر لڑکی کے لیے معیاری تعلیم اور صحت کی سہولیات ضروری قرار دیں۔ انہوں نے تحفظ اور آگے بڑھنے کے یکساں مواقع فراہم کرنے پر بھی زور دیا۔
لڑکیوں کو بااختیار بنانے کی اپیل
گورنر سندھ نے لڑکیوں کو بااختیار بنانے کے لیے اجتماعی کوششوں کی اپیل کی۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ معاشرے کو بیٹیوں کی بھرپور معاونت کرنی چاہیے۔
نہال ہاشمی کے مطابق لڑکیوں کو ترقی کے یکساں مواقع ملنے چاہییں۔ اس طرح وہ ملک کی ترقی میں کردار ادا کرسکتی ہیں اور پاکستان کا نام روشن کرسکتی ہیں۔
