انسداد دہشت گردی کی حالیہ کارروائیوں میں سیکیورٹی فورسز نے پاک افغان سرحد کے قریب کالعدم جماعت الاحرار اور فتنہ الخوارج کے ٹھکانوں کو نشانہ بنایا۔ وفاقی وزیر اطلاعات عطا تارڑ کے مطابق انٹیلی جنس بیسڈ آپریشن کے دوران انتہائی مطلوب دہشت گرد کمانڈر خان فروش عرف زبال ہلاک ہوا، جبکہ بھارتی پراکسی کالعدم جماعت الاحرار کے ایک کمانڈر سمیت مزید تین دہشت گرد بھی مارے گئے۔
عطا تارڑ نے بتایا کہ 28 اور 29 جون کی درمیانی شب پاک افغان سرحدی علاقوں میں بڑے پیمانے پر فضائی کارروائیاں کی گئیں۔ ان کے مطابق پکتیا، پکتیکا اور کنڑ میں دہشت گردوں کے تین ٹھکانے تباہ کیے گئے، جبکہ ان حملوں میں مزید 25 دہشت گرد ہلاک ہوئے۔
وفاقی وزیر اطلاعات نے کہا کہ کارروائیوں کے دوران دہشت گردوں کے مراکز میں موجود اسلحہ اور گولہ بارود کا بڑا ذخیرہ بھی تباہ کر دیا گیا، جس سے دہشت گردوں کی عملی صلاحیت کو نقصان پہنچا۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ پاکستان خطے میں امن کا خواہاں ہے، تاہم اپنے شہریوں کے جان و مال کے تحفظ پر کسی قسم کا سمجھوتہ نہیں کیا جائے گا۔ ان کے بقول ریاست دہشت گردی کے خطرے سے نمٹنے کے لیے تمام ضروری اقدامات جاری رکھے گی۔
عطا تارڑ نے مزید کہا کہ نیشنل ایکشن پلان کے تحت وژن عزم استحکام کے مطابق انسداد دہشت گردی کی مہم جاری رہے گی اور غیر ملکی سرپرستی میں ہونے والی دہشت گردی کے مکمل خاتمے تک سیکیورٹی فورسز پوری قوت کے ساتھ کارروائیاں جاری رکھیں گی۔
