دفاعی معاہدہ ایران کے لیے خطرہ نہیں ہے۔ ایرانی وزارت خارجہ کے ترجمان اسماعیل بقائی نے یہ بات میڈیا بریفنگ میں کہی۔
اسماعیل بقائی نے کہا کہ مشرق وسطیٰ میں عدم سلامتی کی بنیادی وجہ امریکا ہے۔ ان کے مطابق خلیجی ممالک کو ایران کے خلاف کارروائیوں کے لیے امریکا کو اپنی سرزمین استعمال نہیں کرنے دینی چاہیے۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ کسی تیسرے فریق کی مداخلت نہ ہو تو آبنائے ہرمز کھولی جا سکتی ہے۔
اسماعیل بقائی نے عمان کے ساتھ معاہدے پر بھی بات کی۔ ان کے مطابق یہ معاہدہ آبنائے ہرمز میں جہاز رانی کے تحفظ کی ضمانت نہیں دیتا۔
انہوں نے واضح کیا کہ آبنائے ہرمز سے متعلق عمان کے ساتھ معاہدے میں امریکا شامل نہیں ہے۔
ایرانی ترجمان نے کہا کہ امریکا کے ساتھ فی الحال براہِ راست مذاکرات نہیں ہو رہے۔ دونوں ممالک ثالثوں کے ذریعے پیغامات کا تبادلہ کر رہے ہیں۔
ان کے مطابق عبوری معاہدے کی خلاف ورزیاں جاری رہنے تک امریکا کے ساتھ بات چیت نہیں ہوگی۔
اسماعیل بقائی نے دوبارہ واضح کیا کہ سعودی عرب، ترکیے اور پاکستان کے درمیان دفاعی معاہدہ ایران کے لیے خطرہ نہیں ہے۔
