افتتاحی تقریب میں کمشنر کراچی، ڈپٹی کمشنر سینٹرل طٰہٰ سلیم، ٹاؤن چیئرمین نارتھ ناظم آباد عاطف علی خان، شہزاد مجید، اسد حنیف، پاکستان پیپلز پارٹی کے سینئر رہنماؤں اور مختلف سیاسی، سماجی و کاروباری شخصیات نے شرکت کی۔ علاقے کے شہریوں کی بڑی تعداد بھی تقریب میں موجود رہی اور پارک کے قیام کو علاقے کے لیے مثبت پیش رفت قرار دیا۔
ڈاکٹر عاصم حسین نے اپنے خطاب میں کہا کہ شہریوں کو محفوظ، معیاری اور صحت مند تفریحی ماحول فراہم کرنا وقت کی اہم ضرورت ہے۔ ان کے مطابق پارکس نہ صرف شہروں کی خوبصورتی میں اضافہ کرتے ہیں بلکہ ماحول کو بہتر بنانے اور شہریوں کی ذہنی و جسمانی صحت کے فروغ میں بھی اہم کردار ادا کرتے ہیں۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ بنیان المرصوص پارک عوامی خدمت کے عزم کی عملی مثال ہے۔ سرسبز اور جدید پارکس بچوں، نوجوانوں، خواتین اور بزرگوں کو صحت مند سرگرمیوں کے لیے محفوظ ماحول فراہم کرتے ہیں، جبکہ ایسے منصوبے معاشرتی ہم آہنگی، خاندانی تفریح اور مثبت سماجی سرگرمیوں کو بھی فروغ دیتے ہیں۔
