آل پاکستان سیمنٹ مینو فیکچررز ایسوسی ایشن (اے پی سی ایم اے) کے جاری کردہ اعدادوشمار کے مطابق جولائی تا دسمبر 2023 کے دوران سیمنٹ کی برآمدات کا حجم 3.655 ملین ٹن تھا، جو رواں مالی سال (2024) کی اسی مدت میں بڑھ کر 4.810 ملین ٹن تک پہنچ گیا، یوں برآمدات میں 1.155 ملین ٹن کا اضافہ ہوا۔
دوسری جانب، مقامی فروخت میں واضح کمی دیکھی گئی۔ گذشتہ مالی سال کی پہلی ششماہی میں مقامی سطح پر سیمنٹ کی فروخت 20.228 ملین ٹن تھی، جو رواں مالی سال کے اسی عرصے میں کم ہو کر 18.122 ملین ٹن رہ گئی۔ یہ 10.41 فیصد کی کمی کو ظاہر کرتا ہے۔
ماہرین کے مطابق، برآمدات میں اضافہ خوش آئند ہے، تاہم مقامی فروخت میں کمی تعمیراتی شعبے میں سست روی اور دیگر اقتصادی چیلنجز کی عکاسی کرتی ہے۔
