کراچی میں ایدھی ڈکیتی کے خلاف ایدھی فاؤنڈیشن کے رضاکاروں اور ان کے اہلخانہ نے احتجاج کیا۔ مظاہرین نے کراچی پریس کلب کے باہر مظاہرہ کیا اور ملزمان کی فوری گرفتاری کا مطالبہ کیا۔
مظاہرے میں ایدھی فاؤنڈیشن کے سربراہ فیصل ایدھی، ہیومن رائٹس کمیشن آف پاکستان کے چیئرپرسن اسد اقبال بٹ، نیشنل ٹریڈ یونین فیڈریشن کے جنرل سیکریٹری ناصر منصور اور پیپلز لیبر بیورو کے حبیب الدین جنیدی نے شرکت کی۔
فیصل ایدھی نے کہا کہ ایدھی فاؤنڈیشن انسانیت کی خدمت کر رہی ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ ادارے کی کسی سے کوئی دشمنی نہیں۔
ان کے مطابق ایدھی مرکز میں ڈکیتی کا واقعہ انتہائی افسوس ناک ہے۔ چار مسلح ملزمان نے ملازمین کی تنخواہوں کے لیے رکھی 65 لاکھ روپے کی رقم لوٹ لی اور فرار ہوگئے۔
فیصل ایدھی نے کہا کہ ڈکیتی کے باعث ایدھی کے غریب ملازمین کے گھروں میں مشکلات پیدا ہوگئی ہیں۔ پولیس نے تاحال ملزمان کو گرفتار نہیں کیا۔
انہوں نے وزیراعلیٰ سندھ سے مطالبہ کیا کہ ڈکیتی میں ملوث ملزمان کو فوری گرفتار کیا جائے اور لوٹی گئی رقم بھی واپس دلائی جائے۔
