اسلام آباد: بجلی صارفین کے لیے آئندہ ماہ ریلیف کی توقع ظاہر کی جا رہی ہے، جہاں سہ ماہی ایڈجسٹمنٹ کی مد میں بجلی ایک روپے 93 پیسے فی یونٹ سستی ہونے کا امکان ہے، جبکہ اپریل 2026 کی ماہانہ فیول ایڈجسٹمنٹ کے تحت ایک روپے 73 پیسے فی یونٹ اضافے کی تجویز سامنے آئی ہے۔

رپورٹس کے مطابق دونوں ایڈجسٹمنٹس کو ملا کر صارفین کو مجموعی طور پر تقریباً 20 پیسے فی یونٹ ریلیف مل سکتا ہے۔ تاہم حتمی فیصلہ نیشنل الیکٹرک پاور ریگولیٹری اتھارٹی (نیپرا) کی جانب سے سماعتوں کے بعد کیا جائے گا۔
پاور ڈویژن کے مطابق اپریل 2026 کی ماہانہ ایڈجسٹمنٹ میں بجلی کی قیمت میں ایک روپے 73 پیسے فی یونٹ اضافہ بنتا ہے، تاہم سہ ماہی ایڈجسٹمنٹ کے تحت ایک روپے 93 پیسے فی یونٹ کمی تجویز کی گئی ہے، جس سے صارفین پر اضافی بوجھ نہیں پڑے گا۔
ترجمان پاور ڈویژن نے بتایا کہ بروقت اور مؤثر حکومتی اقدامات کے باعث جون میں بجلی کی قیمتوں میں کوئی بڑا اضافہ متوقع نہیں۔ ان کے مطابق صارفین کو 5 سے 6 روپے فی یونٹ تک کے ممکنہ اضافی بوجھ سے بچا لیا گیا ہے۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ ایل این جی کی بندش اور مہنگے فرنس آئل کے استعمال کے باوجود بجلی صارفین پر اضافی مالی بوجھ منتقل نہیں کیا گیا، جبکہ ممکنہ طور پر 38 ارب روپے کا اضافی بوجھ بھی بچایا گیا ہے۔
پاور ڈویژن کے مطابق مقامی گیس کی اضافی فراہمی، درآمدی کول پاور پلانٹس سے بجلی کی پیداوار اور بجلی کی طلب میں اضافے کے باعث لوڈ مینجمنٹ میں کمی آئی، جبکہ پہلی سہ ماہی میں صارفین کو 65 ارب روپے کی واپسی ممکن ہوئی۔
ترجمان کا کہنا تھا کہ سہ ماہی ایڈجسٹمنٹ نے ماہانہ فیول ایڈجسٹمنٹ کے اثرات کو تقریباً مکمل طور پر ختم کر دیا ہے اور مشکل معاشی حالات کے باوجود صارفین کو مزید ریلیف فراہم کرنے کی کوشش کی جا رہی ہے۔
