2024 کے عام انتخابات میں خواتین ووٹرز اور امیدواروں کی شمولیت میں قابلِ ذکر اضافہ ہوا۔ خواتین نے اس بار 5 کروڑ 89 لاکھ ڈالے گئے ووٹوں میں سے 2 کروڑ 44 لاکھ ووٹ ڈالے، جو 2018 کے مقابلے میں 27 لاکھ زیادہ ہیں، جب کہ مرد ووٹرز کی تعداد میں صرف 16 لاکھ کا اضافہ ہوا۔

ووٹرز کی شمولیت:
خواتین ووٹرز کا حصہ بڑھا:
قومی اسمبلی میں خواتین ووٹرز کا تناسب 2018 میں 39.4 فیصد تھا، جو 2024 میں بڑھ کر 41.4 فیصد ہوگیا۔ صوبائی اسمبلیوں میں بھی خواتین ووٹرز کا حصہ 40 فیصد سے بڑھ کر 41.4 فیصد تک پہنچ گیا۔
صنفی فرق میں کمی:
خواتین ووٹرز کی رجسٹریشن میں گزشتہ 10 سالوں میں بہتری آئی، جس سے 2013 میں 12.8 فیصد صنفی فرق کم ہوکر 2024 میں 7.7 فیصد رہ گیا۔
2024 میں پہلی بار ووٹنگ میں صنفی فرق ایک کروڑ سے کم ہوکر 99 لاکھ رہ گیا، جس میں سے 74 فیصد فرق 18 سے 35 سال کی خواتین میں مرکوز ہے۔
صنفی فرق والے حلقوں میں کمی:
10 فیصد سے زائد صنفی فرق والے حلقوں کی تعداد 2018 کے 571 حلقوں سے کم ہوکر 2024 میں 140 رہ گئی۔ پنجاب نے اس کمی میں اہم کردار ادا کرتے ہوئے 2013 کے 214 حلقوں کو 2024 میں صرف 17 پر لے آیا۔
خواتین امیدواروں کی شمولیت:
2024 کے انتخابات میں خواتین امیدواروں کی تعداد 2018 کے مقابلے میں دگنی ہو گئی۔
قومی اور صوبائی اسمبلی کے 859 حلقوں میں 902 خواتین نے حصہ لیا، جب کہ 2018 میں یہ تعداد 465 تھی۔
ووٹ حاصل کرنے کا تناسب بڑھا:
قومی اور صوبائی اسمبلیوں میں خواتین امیدواروں کا حصہ 2013 کے 2.7 فیصد سے بڑھ کر 2024 میں 4.3 فیصد ہوگیا۔
نتیجہ:
2024 کے انتخابات خواتین کی شمولیت اور ان کے انتخابی عمل میں فعال کردار کے لحاظ سے تاریخی ثابت ہوئے۔ ووٹرز کے صنفی فرق میں کمی اور خواتین امیدواروں کی بڑھتی ہوئی تعداد جمہوری عمل میں صنفی مساوات کی جانب مثبت پیش رفت کی عکاسی کرتی ہے۔
